PUBLIC REGISTRATION TERMS BEGIN
Last updated: 13 October 2026
- About these terms
These terms apply to personal and corporate registrations and subscriptions provided by KYROH Property Pty Ltd, ABN 89 684 986 936, trading as NanoTag Australia (we, us or our).
Our address is Building 45, 28 Barcoo St, Roseville NSW 2069, Australia. Our contact email is info@nanoatagaustralia.com.au.
By selecting the registration terms checkbox and submitting your registration, you agree to these terms. If you register for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it. We will make these terms available before registration and provide access to the version you accepted.
These terms cover the registration service. Separate product purchase, application and warranty information may apply to physical NanoTag products. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
- Purpose and limitations of registration
NanoTag registration links an identifying NanoTag number to a registered person or organisation. This helps approved investigators identify the registered contact and assists property identification and recovery.
Registration does not establish legal title, certify that an item belongs to you, or create a government registration, security interest or insurance policy. A database result assists an investigation and does not prove theft or criminal conduct.
NanoTag microscopic identifiers are not live GPS tracking devices. Any separate electronic tracking product has its own functions and requirements.
We do not guarantee that property will never be stolen, that a marking will always be located or readable, or that property will be recovered. These limitations do not exclude applicable consumer guarantees or responsibility for our own failure to provide the service as legally required.
- Your account and registration details
You must provide accurate information, use a NanoTag number you are entitled to register, and keep your contact and registration details reasonably up to date. You must not register property you know you have no authority to register.
Use a unique password, keep your login details confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account, but are not automatically responsible for activity caused by our security failures or other circumstances beyond your reasonable control.
We may ask for reasonable evidence where a registration number is already associated with another account, ownership is disputed, or a request involves transferring or disclosing information. We may pause the disputed change while reviewing it and explain the process where lawful to do so.
An on-screen submission or email receipt does not by itself confirm that registration has been accepted or successfully recorded in another registry. Check the status shown in your account and contact us if it remains pending or reports an error. We will notify you of a material registration failure that comes to our attention and take reasonable steps to resolve it.
- Free Basic personal registration
Free Basic registration allows you to register eligible NanoTag numbers and maintain the associated contact details. Approved police users can search registered numbers through the authorised portal, subject to its access and privacy controls.
Free Basic does not include the Premium private asset inventory or customer theft-reporting features. If police identify property linked to your registration, NanoTag Australia may assist with contacting you through the applicable recovery process.
A Basic record without a theft report must not be treated as confirmation that the property has not been stolen.
- Premium personal registration
Premium provides the additional inventory, asset information and customer theft-reporting features described at checkout and within the service. These may include photographs, serial numbers, purchase and insurance information, incident details and recovery updates.
One Premium subscription covers all eligible kits and assets registered to the same personal customer account. It does not automatically cover separate customer or corporate accounts.
Premium currently costs:
- AU$4.99 per month, including GST; or
- AU$49.99 per year, including GST, paid annually in advance.
The annual plan is a single annual charge, not a monthly instalment plan. Your selected billing period, total charge, renewal arrangements and included features will be clearly displayed before payment. We will not add undisclosed compulsory fees.
- Corporate registration
Corporate registration is free unless you separately agree to a paid service. The initial corporate service records the organisation, authorised contact and applicable NanoTag registration details. It does not include us entering, managing or verifying the organisation’s individual asset inventory.
A corporate account does not automatically include personal Premium features, multiple staff logins, bulk uploads or asset management. Any additional service will be explained and separately agreed before it is activated or charged.
The organisation must ensure that its representative is authorised and notify us when its nominated contact or authority changes.
- Payments and renewal
Paid subscriptions are processed through the payment provider identified at checkout. By completing checkout, you authorise the clearly disclosed initial charge and recurring renewal charges for your selected plan.
Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually until cancelled. There is no additional minimum commitment beyond the billing period selected. Automatic renewal will be prominently disclosed at checkout, rather than only in these terms.
We will provide confirmation of your subscription, the amount charged and how to cancel. We will send an annual renewal reminder at least 14 days before the next annual charge, showing the renewal date, price and cancellation method.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to update payment details before paid features are suspended. We will not charge an undisclosed late payment or cancellation fee.
- Cancellation and refunds
You may stop renewal at any time through the available subscription controls or by emailing us from your registered email address. We will not require a telephone call or an explanation before accepting a cancellation.
A cancellation request received before the scheduled renewal charge will stop that renewal. We will confirm cancellation. An administrative processing delay will not justify a charge after a timely cancellation request.
Unless you request immediate closure or a refund remedy applies, Premium access continues until the end of the period already paid for. You will then return to Free Basic registration, without a cancellation fee.
We do not ordinarily provide a partial refund solely because you change your mind part-way through a paid billing period. This does not limit refunds, cancellation or compensation required by law, or a remedy where these terms expressly provide one. Contact us if you believe you were charged incorrectly or the service has not been provided as promised.
Cancelling Premium does not automatically erase registration details, clear an unresolved theft report or cancel a separately purchased physical product order. You may still request correction, report recovery of an existing stolen item, manage privacy permissions or request account closure.
- Reporting theft and recovery
Premium customers may report theft using the available account features. Provide information honestly, distinguish what you know from what you suspect, and correct an inaccurate report promptly.
Reporting an item in our system does not lodge a police report or notify emergency services. Report suspected crime to the relevant police service and contact emergency services directly where necessary. Do not confront a suspected offender or attempt an unsafe recovery.
A theft status is a customer report unless otherwise identified. We do not determine criminal liability. You must not knowingly submit false allegations, misleading evidence or reports intended to harass another person.
If property is recovered or a report is mistaken, update its status through the available process or contact us. Expiry of Premium does not automatically remove an existing theft flag, and you can still request resolution of that report. Advice from an investigator does not automatically change the status without the applicable review or update process.
- Police, insurer and privacy controls
Information handling is explained in our Privacy Policy. Acknowledging that policy is not blanket consent to every use or disclosure.
Optional police-recovery permission is separate from accepting these terms and is available to both Free Basic and Premium customers. Registration does not require you to give that permission. Withdrawal affects future disclosures relying on it and does not prevent a disclosure independently required or permitted by law.
Approved insurance investigators have restricted access. Police-recovery permission does not authorise insurer access to owner contact details. Any additional disclosure requires an appropriate lawful basis.
Registered contact details and private inventory are not a public directory. Different investigator roles receive different information according to their approved purpose and permissions.
- Transfers, sale and disputed ownership
If you sell or transfer tagged property, contact us to arrange the appropriate registration update. A subscription is not automatically transferred to the buyer.
Where a NanoTag number is shared across multiple items, transferring one item does not necessarily justify transferring the whole kit registration. We will review the affected records and may request proportionate evidence or confirmation from the parties.
Do not give another person your account password as a way to transfer registration. We may preserve relevant history and indicate a dispute while a change is reviewed. We cannot decide legal ownership disputes in place of a court or other competent authority.
- Information you upload and acceptable use
You retain your rights in photographs, descriptions and other content you provide. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as reasonably needed to provide the service and handle it in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
You must have authority to provide the information and must not upload unlawful material, malicious code, unnecessary sensitive information or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not use the service to impersonate another person, obtain records without authority, scrape the database or interfere with its security or operation.
We may remove or restrict specific content where reasonably necessary to address a substantiated legal, privacy or security concern. We will explain the action and provide an opportunity to respond where practicable and lawful.
- Availability, changes and suspension
We take reasonable care to operate the service, maintain registration records and address faults. Maintenance, outages and external failures may interrupt access. We will give reasonable notice of planned material interruptions where practicable.
We may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, protect accounts, address non-payment for paid features or comply with law. Action will be proportionate to the issue. Where practicable, we will give notice, reasons and an opportunity to remedy the problem. Urgent protective action may occur first, followed by notice where lawful.
Suspension does not automatically determine ownership, delete a theft report or remove your rights to make a complaint. If we permanently discontinue a paid service without equivalent replacement, we will refund the unused prepaid portion, subject to any greater rights under law.
We may make reasonable changes to these terms or the service. For a material change affecting your paid plan, we will normally provide at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes apply only to a future renewal, not a billing period already paid for, and we will give at least 30 days’ notice before charging a changed price.
You may stop renewal before a change takes effect. If a material reduction in paid functionality takes effect during your prepaid period and you do not accept it, you may cancel and receive a proportionate refund for the unused period. Changes will not retrospectively alter an accrued claim or create new consent.
- Australian Consumer Law and responsibility
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where applicable, these include due care and skill, fitness for a disclosed purpose and supply within a reasonable time.
If a service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, including correction, cancellation, refund or compensation depending on the circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
We are responsible for our service in accordance with applicable law. We do not provide insurance cover and are not automatically responsible for a theft committed by another person merely because property was registered. This does not excuse loss caused by our own breach or remove any non-excludable responsibility.
- Complaints and governing law
Contact us if you have a registration, billing or service complaint. We will acknowledge it, investigate and aim to provide a substantive response within 30 calendar days. We will explain any material delay. Privacy complaints are handled under our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and applicable Commonwealth laws. This does not deprive you of mandatory protections or prevent you from using a court, tribunal, regulator or complaint process available to you under applicable law, including in your home state or territory where permitted.

PUBLIC REGISTRATION TERMS END
PUBLICATION NOTES — DO NOT PUBLISH
- Confirm the registered company name associated with the supplied ABN. Confirm the email spelling: info@nanoatagaustralia.com.au was supplied, but differs from the nanotagaustralia.com.au website domain. Do not publish a non-working support address.
- The recurring billing, 14-day annual reminders, 30-day price/change notices and cancellation process are proposed contractual commitments. Implement and test them before charging customers. The registration package does not by itself establish working subscription checkout, reminders or cancellation. If a different fair commercial process is selected, revise the terms and checkout together.
- Display the full charge, GST treatment, billing interval, automatic renewal, included features and cancellation method prominently before payment. Do not rely on terms hidden behind a link to disclose renewal.
- Confirm the Premium feature list against the installed version. Transfers currently require a support process, not a promised automatic transfer tool. Corporate inventory is not included by default. Keep recovery updates available for previously reported items after Premium expiry.
- Link the registration terms and Privacy Policy beside the form. Record the terms version and acceptance timestamp. Police-recovery permission and marketing permission must be separate, unticked options.
- State accurately whether the account is registered in the Australian service, pending review or successfully connected to a separate NanoTag registry. Do not imply successful external registration merely because a local form was submitted.
- Have an Australian lawyer review the final operator details, consumer terms and relevant business arrangements. These terms are a tailored draft, not certification of compliance with every Australian law. Separate physical-product terms, warranties, agency agreements and privacy procedures may be needed.
- Decide the eligibility and consent process for minors before allowing independent registrations. Do not add an age restriction unless the actual registration process and business policy support it.
SUGGESTED REGISTRATION CHECKBOX
I agree to the NanoTag Australia Registration Terms and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy.
Link both document titles to the published pages. Leave the checkbox unticked. Keep optional police-recovery and marketing permissions separate.
